Etsy Tuesday – affordable abstract Art

We love bringing you Etsy Tuesday each week… not only is it a time we can discover beautiful handmade things and support small business and home crafts. It’s a great way to showcase affordable solutions also to help you decorate your home.

This week we are sharing these lovely abstract artists that help us create an impact in a room without breaking the budget. Plus what’s even more exciting, they are original pieces!

Lola Donoghue

We absolutely love Lola Donoghue’s work and would like to lead featuring her original Acrylic and Oil Paintings and Fine Art Prints.

Lola’s creative journey began at the Limerick School of Art & Design in Ireland where she graduated at the top of her class!

With the crazy life that followed Art School, Lola had lost touch with her own art and has only begun painting again in the last couple of years… she is grateful for the good kick up the behind her boyfriend gave her to get back into painting 🙂 (AND lucky for us!)

Lola had always been an avid buyer on Etsy and loves the whole philosophy behind it; a community where one could buy and sell handmade and vintage, with a very personal touch. Lola says “it was natural that I’d want to place myself next to lots of talented, like-minded people. I knew that when I started to sell my art, that this would be where it would happen.

Lola work’s from an upstairs room in her new house in Co. Galway in the West of Ireland…She has amazing floor to ceiling windows in her studio so that the presence of the landscape with its traditional stone walls, rolling pastures and gently grazing sheep and cows can only be a source of immense inspiration. What a stunning outlook to be inspired by!

DUEALBERI

Large Original Abstract, Expressionist Style art that will add some intrigue and interest to a bare wall. DUEALBERI uses charcoal, acrylic on canvas and uses different techniques to build texture. They can also do custom artworks specific to a colour way you may be after too! Contact them directly through their Etsy store.

ART by Kirsten

Kirsten’s original Acrylic paintings come in many different sizes, on both canvas and wood. Fine Art Prints are also available from some of her paintings too!

Based in City of Hannover,Germany, Kirsten’s art has been seen in exhibitions around Germany, however now she prefers to show her work online. We love the colours, the different forms, shapes and very abstract stories they tell. Its such an exciting part of exploring Etsy and happening upon these artists.

Symbolic & Spiritual Art by Miranda Skoczek

Melbourne Artist,  Miranda Skoczek is a captivating and intriguing artist that transports you into all areas of fantasy and the exotic… and, through her work, Miranda loves to explore the boundaries between abstraction and representation, design and painting; working with oil, acrylic and enamel, building layers, texture and depth.

As Miranda says on her website that she is “committed to producing work loaded with positivity, and hope to engage the viewer physically, as well as psychologically.”

I think she is successful in achieving this, I love the adventures the work takes you on, the vibrancy, but also the moodiness of these creations. They draw you in…
